It is a holiday road that leads through the home of famous fairy tale writers such as the Brothers Grimm. The route spans over 600 km (373 miles) from Hanau to Bremen and connects more than 60 fairy tale sites and attractions. Travelers can visit historic cities such as Kassel, Marburg, and Hameln and see places that played a role in famous tales such as “Hansel and Gretel”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, and “Sleeping Beauty”. The German Fairy Tale Route is a wonderful way to immerse oneself in the world of fairy tales and explore the places that inspired these stories.
